The Wellness in Travel & Tourism (WITT) Certification Ambassador program brings together professionals who share a commitment to advancing credible wellness standards in hospitality and travel.
Becoming a WITT Ambassador begins with completing the WITT Accredited Professional (WITT AP) Program. This foundational step ensures that every Ambassador has a deep understanding of the WITT Wellness Standards and the certification framework.
Once accredited as a WITT AP, individuals can step into the Ambassador role—introducing hospitality professionals and properties to the WITT ecosystem and expanding awareness of meaningful, measurable wellness practices across the industry.
WITT Certification Ambassadors play an important role in connecting hotels, resorts, and professionals with the tools and standards that elevate wellness hospitality worldwide.
Ambassadors may receive referral compensation when professionals enroll in the WITT AP Program or when properties begin the WITT Certification process through their introduction.
The WITT Ambassador program is ideal for professionals who are passionate about wellness, hospitality, and responsible travel and who want to contribute to raising the standards of wellness offerings across the industry.
As a WITT Certification Ambassador, you may:
Introduce the WITT AP Program to professionals in hospitality, travel, and wellness who want to deepen their knowledge of wellness standards
Refer hotels and resorts interested in pursuing WITT Certification
Earn 10% referral commission for professional enrollments and property certifications that originate through your introduction
Offer group enrollment opportunities for the WITT AP Program (coordinated with WITT)

WITT Certification Ambassadors support the growth of global wellness standards by introducing professionals and hospitality properties within their network to the WITT programs and certification framework. The WITT team then guides all program and certification communications.
Becoming a WITT Ambassador is simple.
Submit a short application so we can learn about your professional background and connection to the hospitality, travel, or wellness industry.
Complete the WITT AP Accredited Professional (WITT AP) Program, which provides a comprehensive understanding of the WITT Wellness Standards and certification framework. If you are already a WITT AP, after completing applying, proceed to the Resource Page of the program to access your Ambassador materials.
Share the WITT AP Program with professionals in your network and introduce hotels or resorts that may benefit from pursuing WITT Certification.

There are five learning modules plus a final exam at the end. It is entirely self-paced and your progress will be saved as you progress.
The modules are:
Module 1: Introduction to WITT and Wellness Travel Evolution
Module 2: WITT Five Pillars of Wellness Standards
Module 3: The Bigger Picture: Wellness for People and Planet
Module 4: WITT Core Wellness Standards for Hotels
Module 5: Maximizing the Impact of WITT Certified Status
There are questions in each module plus the final exam which has 25 questions.
An official listing in the forthcoming WITT Accredited Professional Directory comes free for the first year. Remaining on the directory in subsequent years is US$49 per year and you can cancel at any time and still be included in the directory for the first year upon its launch.
There is no cost to join either Ambassador program. The requirement is to pass the WITT AP program.
Authentic wellness properties are looking for guidance on how to set themselves apart from their "wellness washing" peers and on what wellness guests actually expect upon arrival. The Ambassador program is designed to begin answering these questions for hoteliers and help them achieve their goals by using your expertise in hospitality and your relationships to guide properties in their pursuit of offering authentic wellness experiences for their guests.
As of now, the WITT team will conduct the audits and work with your hoteliers through the process of earning the WITT Seal. In the future, we expect to offer an Auditor program to lead certifications independently.
You will use the learnings gained from the WITT AP course and a detailed Introduction to WITT Certification presentation to guide your conversations with properties . Throughout this process you will have access to WITT support.
Multiple Ambassadors may operate in the same country, state or region.
In the future, we will offer a structured Regional Manager and Country Manager roles where those leaders will be able to guide Ambassadors and Auditors in their designated area.
